As the tale unfolds, the main characters gain the ability to witness “emerald visions,” as though they are selecting from a myriad of possible futures. The rich history of these worlds cannot be unveiled in a single visit, and with each playthrough, a new story may unfurl.
Timeline Battles Test Your Strategy
As you embark on this adventure, you’ll encounter “timeline battles” that challenge your strategic prowess. Characters act based on a timeline that dictates the order of actions, with each character’s techniques assigned a specific speed. The choices of techniques, their range, and enemy actions all play a crucial role in the battle, including the iconic “coordination” system where enemies can also activate coordinated attacks.
Additionally, a unique system allows players to combine multiple techniques for dramatic turnarounds, resulting in “dominance” if a player manages to isolate themselves from both allies and enemies on the timeline. For instance, this can happen when only one ally remains.
