Xbox Consoles:
- Ensure you have purchased the base game or have an active Xbox Game Pass subscription.
- Open the Microsoft Store from your Xbox dashboard.
- Use the search field to find “Minecraft Preview.”
- Open the program’s store page.
- Click the download button to install the preview separately from the base game.
Windows 10/11 PCs:
First Installation:
- Open the Minecraft Launcher on your PC.
- Select the Windows version.
- Next to the install/play button, click “latest release.”
- Choose “latest preview” and hit the install button.
Updating an Existing Preview:
- Open the Microsoft Store app on your PC.
- Navigate to your library.
- Find the Minecraft preview in the program list.
- Click the update button. If it doesn’t appear, click “get updates” to fetch new updates released by Mojang.
Android Devices:
- Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
